well why are you looking for famous pieces? there are sooo many infamous pieces that are just as good (actually usually better IMO)
want me to name some pieces you should look into? well i willl just say listen to Beethoven, Haydn, Clementi, Schubert, and Mozarts music for the classicals (and not just the famous stuff!!! buy like a complete collection if there is one or complete sonatas or whatever) Mendelssohn, Brahms, Alkan, Liszt, Chopin...oh gosh do i have to keep listing....well if you want a list of composers just ask any1 in this forum and we can help you out...but a list of pieces is to broad...too many pieces out there
